While headlines have been focusing on "Covid numbers spiking," "CHAZ," and general civil unrest, there has been a slew of events coming to light recently, all seeming to coalesce this weekend. But how do we sort truth from lies and respond accordingly? In this situation, it ultimately doesn't matter how true or false it is. What we need to take away from this is that it's time to pray.
We've all seen the headlines and posts shared by concerned Christians. There's supposed to be Luciferian marches taking place in major cities across this nation on Sunday, between 2 and 11 pm to promote a "one world government."
Each of the different events have the same repetitive description and the same hosts or organizers listed. The only variance really, is in slight customization of hosts from one city to another.
Could it be a real event with people actually intending to march across the nation to promote a one world government? Sure. We know from Scripture that the world will ultimately head that way. But is this how it's going to start?
In trying to vet these events I stumbled across an article from February of last year. It details a posting of the exact same event, down to the very description, that we are seeing now, but for which only Christians showed up.
Then, as we reported the other day, scientists are stating that the initial calculations concerning the Mayan Calendar were erroneous. Due to miscalculating the differences between the Julian and the Gregorian calendars, the real end of the world according to the Mayans is supposedly this Sunday.
Also happening this Sunday is a solar eclipse that will be visible from Africa through parts of Asia. Thanks to technological advances though, the lingering travel restrictions in place from Covid-19 are not a hindrance to people wanting to view the celestial event. Plans are already in place to live stream the event.
An additional event being live streamed, for the first time ever, are the events at Stonehenge. The English Heritage Organization which manages Stonehenge itself issued a statement saying:
“We have consulted widely on whether we could have proceeded safely and we would have dearly liked to host the event as per usual, but sadly in the end, we feel we have no choice but to cancel. We hope that our live stream offers an alternative opportunity for people near and far to connect with this spiritual place at such a special time of year and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.”
Rather than encouraging people to show up in person, they are pointing people to their social media account where they will be able to watch both the sunset on June 20th and the Sunrise on June 21st.
And let us not forget that in the United States. this Sunday has also been designated as Father's day.
So what do we do with all of this?
We pray.
Those that have been following Through the Black, Russ Dizdar, or a number of others for any amount of time know that this weekend will be a ritual weekend. The fact that there is an eclipse just compounds the situation.
While the perpetrators feel as though they're able to keep themselves hidden from prying eyes, they are not able to hide from God. He sees them all and knows their thoughts and intents. As Russ says, "payday some day."
In the mean time, we can pray for exposure; that good law enforcement officers at any and all levels would find and stop these rituals. That the children in cages would be freed. We can pray that those that have survived these atrocities will be saved, healed, delivered by Jesus.
These headlines and events just serve to reinforce the importance of prayer. Daily there are people perishing without Jesus, that have spent their lives searching for something that this world cannot offer. They've looked for answers in Mayan predictions, the sun and the moon, and a myriad of other places. All will prove empty in the end.
So please, pray. But don't let it stop there- step out in faith and be obedient to God in whatever opportunities He presents before you.
