Santa Ana, California: Information was released by the Santa Ana Police Department on Friday, May 20, announcing that 69-year-old Peter Morales had been arrested on charges that he molested four students at Adams Elementary School.
According to the release, police were called to the school on Friday, May 6 to investigate allegations that Morales had inappropriately touched four female students between the ages of 8 and 9 years old.
"Each victim was molested individually and at different times throughout the day," the statement disclosed.
Morales was arrested and charged with child molestation. He later posted bail which had been set at $100,000. At this time, his next court date is not known.
Morales was working as a substitute teacher at the time of the alleged offenses and has been employed by the Santa Ana Unified School District for 18 years as a teacher.
According to ABC7, Morales has been removed from the substitute list with the district and investigators believe there could be more victims.
