Now that the NXIVM founder Keith Raniere has been found guilty on all charges including sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and attempted sex trafficking, what some may have wished would be the end of the story, seems to be just the beginning.
When the NXIVM case first burst on the scene, it rocked headlines. The idea of an elite club of promiscuous women that willingly took on brands to show their membership and loyalty was shocking enough. Then the darker side started to slowly be released. Not only was there coercion and blackmail behind the scenes, but there were reports of underage women that were also held and inducted into the "sex cult."
Once Raniere was charged, the cult's day care centers began to receive some much needed scrutiny. Named "Rainbow Cultural Garden," NXIVM at one point had day care centers throughout the world including locations in Albany New York, Miami Florida, Los Angeles California, London England, Spain, Guatemala, and Mexico. In April of last year, it was revealed that the Miami day care was unlicensed and was immediately ordered closed by state officials.
According to reports, parents would pay $10,000 (some sites say per month) for the privilege of their children being a part of the NXIVM/ Raniere training program from the age of six months on. During that time, the children were removed from primary care of their parents, and were instead, cared for by a series of alternating nannies, each of which spoke a different language to the child. The children were left "illiterate, confused" at the very least.
But the NXIVM day cares are just another side story of the bombshells that were dropped during closing arguments Wednesday.
While anyone that runs a search for "NXIVM ties to Clinton" will be quickly bombarded with articles from 2018 concerning child trafficking, definite ties were established during closing arguments when statements were made concerning funds from NXIVM being funneled to the Clinton campaign during her 2008 run. According to the New York Post, “Bronfman funneled thousands of dollars into Clinton’s campaign coffers — far in excess of legal limits to contributions — to “curry favor” with the powerhouse political family, according to Mark Vicente, a documentary filmmaker and former member of NXIVM." Whistleblower, Frank Parlato, made it clear that Clinton was "happy to accept the money" from NXIVM.
In additional allegations, attributed to senior NXIVM insider, Kristen M. Keeffe, Claire W. Bronfman, heiress to the Seagram Business empire installed a key-logger on her late father's computer in order to enable NXIVM officials to monitor his communications with world leaders, including Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
There is clearly, still more to this story to be exposed.
