Rolla Police Department began investigating a case of possible abuse on October 13th involving a four month old child.
Initial investigation revealed that the fracture the child had suffered in his arm was the result of an unknown cause.
Further investigation revealed that the child had suffered an additional 18 fractures that were found to be in various states of healing. All of the fractures were found to be consistent with inflicted trauma and not accidental means.
On Monday, November 25th, Shawn D, Crall, 26, and Hannah M, Crall, 22, were both arrested and charged with two counts each of abuse or neglect of a child. The bond for each was set at $250,000.
Hannah has been released on bond, but Shawn is being held in lieu of bond.
