Queen Creek, Arizona: The Pinal County Sheriff's Office announced an arrest on Tuesday, December 21 concerning the sexual assault of a young girl.
According to their statement, they were notified on November 14 of a 6-year-old girl that had tested positive for an undisclosed sexually transmitted disease at the Queen Creek urgent care.
In speaking with investigators, the girl disclosed that her father's roommate, 26-year-old Jacob Sullivan had sexually assaulted her.
The warrant for his arrest was issued on December 20 and he was arrested the following morning.
Currently, Sullivan is in the Pinal County Jail on three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
On December 22, during his initial appearance in court, a judge ruled that there would be no bond available to him due to the nature of the offenses.
In an unrelated warrant, Sullivan was assigned a bond of $3,343 out of Copper Corridor Justice Court in Superior, Arizona.
Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb said, "Getting this sexual predator off the streets was our number one priority. I am pleased with our Detectives for making quick work of this suspect. I pray that the victim in this case finds comfort and healing. We stand with her and all victims of abuse. We are here for you."
According to jail records, Sullivan's next court date is scheduled for Tuesday, December 28.
