A concerned family member called police on Wednesday, July 31st after discovering explicit text messages between Mary Hazelwood and Joshua Trimm, both 26, of Marion, Indiana.
In an interview with police, both parties confessed to not only engaging in sexual acts in front of the seven year old girl, but also admitted that there had been 'inappropriate sexual interaction' between Trimm and the child.
The girl was interviewed by police and child advocates where she said that she had been touched throughout the course of the summer since being out of school.
Hazelwood and Trimm are both being charged with child molesting, child exploitation, child pornography, and sexual conduct in front of a minor. Trimm has also been charged with sexual misconduct with a minor. Both are being held on $100,000 bond.
