In three separate shootings just after midnight, four people were injured and one killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Ontario mobster Pat Musitano and a second unidentified male were shot at 1 pm at a plaza in Burlington, Ontario. Pat was declared dead at the scene and the other male was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
At 3:30 pm, the first of three shootings took place in the span of just over an hour in Union City, Georgia which ultimately left three dead and another in critical condition.
A 15-year-old died in Chicago, Illinois when an assailant fired at him from a light colored vehicle at about 4:50 pm. Over the course of the day, five other people lost their lives and another two were injured.
Two were seriously injured in a shooting in Portsmouth, Virginia at 5:17 pm.
At 6 pm, two women were fatally shot in Houston, Texas.
An 18-year-old was shot and killed outside of a Brookly, New York hotel around 7:45 pm. The motive for the shooting is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
At 10:45 pm Bend, Oregon officers were called to a motel in response to a murder suicide.
Two were injured in a drive-by shooting just before 11 pm in Kensington, Pennsylvania.
