Cape Girardeau, Missouri: Officers were called to a residence just after 11 pm on Christmas Eve after a woman called 911 to report that she had stabbed her boyfriend according to a statement issued by the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
When officers arrived on the scene they reportedly found 32-year-old Brittany A. Wilson standing outside the residence with what appeared to be blood on her clothing and a sword in the front yard.
She was detained without incident while additional officers entered the residence.
A deceased male, later identified as 34-year-old Harrison Stephen Foster was located in the basement of the home with multiple fresh stab wounds.
In speaking with police, Wilson reportedly told officers that she and Foster had used methamphetamine earlier in the day.
