
A man looking for antlers in a wooded area near Gardner Lake in Gardner, Kansas found what is believed to be skeletal remains on Monday, January 11.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office took to Facebook to announce the discovery and investigation.
According to KCTV, investigators remained at the scene throughout much of the day yesterday.
"At this time, no identification has been determined or if foul play was involved," the statement from the Sheriff's Office read.
