Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy Charged With Child Sex Crimes

A five year veteran of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Shauna Bishop, 44, surrendered herself to custody of the Sacramento County Jail on multiple sex crimes.

When the accusation of sexual contact with a 16-year-old was leveled in May, Bishop was placed on paid administrative leave. Though she is a Deputy that works at times with troubled youth, the internal investigation did not find reason to believe that she met the youth through the course of her work.

Bishop has now been charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation with a minor, and molesting a child. Sacramento County Jail records indicate that she was released later in the day on Thursday.

Teaching children from before they can walk that people are ‘inherently good’ is not only dangerous, but it also contradicts Biblical truth (Jer. 17:9, Romans 8, etc).

I don’t like writing stories about parents inflicting atrocities on their own children, but if we continue as a society to refuse to acknowledge that these things happen and that they are not nearly as uncommon as we would like to think, then we’ll never move to the next step of recognizing the reality of ritual abuse, and doing something about it.
