Welcome to the June edition of “Pray Away the LaVey.
It is vital that we become familiar with occult holidays so that we can pray and fast for the protection, release, and healing of people and children caught up in its dark web. There are all sorts of things going on in the world right now, but we cannot use these diversions as an excuse to forget about the real warfare going on underground and all around us.
If the idea of praying for Satanists, or praying against occult rituals and holidays overwhelms or frightens you, or you don’t know where to begin, check out Russ Dizdar’s Prayer Mapping course; or listen to Tom and Vicki’s prayer mapping episode HERE.
I pray that the information below will be a valuable resource in assisting you as you pray for the protection of our children, the salvation of those steeped in these traditions and bloodlines, and against the Enemy’s power that is unleashed in greater measure on these charged dates.
HIGH HOLY DAYS ON THE OCCULT CALENDAR – June 2023
June is the sixth month, c. 1300, Iun, June, Juin, from Latin Iunius (mensis) probably a contraction of Iumonius, “sacred to Juno.” Replaced Old English liðe se ærra “earlier mildness.” Spelling variant Iune lingered until the 17th-century.
Juno is the Roman goddess of adult women and marriage, sister and wife of Jupiter, mid-14c., probably literally “the young one” (if so, perhaps as goddess of the new moon), from Proto-Italic *juwen- “young,” which also is the source of Latin iunior “younger,” iuvenis “young man” (see young (adj.)). Noted for her stately beauty and fits of jealous rage. Also the patron of national finances. Usually identified with Greek Hera, but Juno also had qualities of Athena.
