Welcome to the July edition of “Pray Away the LaVey.
It is vital that we become familiar with occult holidays so that we can pray and fast for the protection, release, and healing of people and children caught up in its dark web. There are all sorts of things going on in the world right now, but we cannot use these diversions as an excuse to forget about the real warfare going on underground and all around us.

HIGH HOLY DAYS ON THE OCCULT CALENDAR – July 2023
The month of July, unlike June, is named for a mortal, albeit one who devised and ruled an empire. Julius Caesar was a Roman general, statesman, and historian who conquered Gaul (what is now part of Italy, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands), changed the structure of the Roman government into a dictatorship, was assassinated in legendary fashion, and most importantly for our purposes, helped make the calendar what it is today.
July was named in honor of Julius Caesar. Quintilis, which was his birth month, was renamed July when he died. Quintilis means “fifth month” in Latin, which represents where this month originally fell in the Roman calendar.
