Tuesday afternoon police were called to an apartment in Manhattan on the Lower East Side where they found the decapitated and dismembered body of who they believe to be 33-year-old CEO of Gokada, Fahim Saleh.
The apartment is owned by Saleh, but officials are awaiting confirmation from medical examiners. In a Twitter post though, someone with Gokada confirmed that it was Saleh.
Police found the scene after Saleh's cousin found the gruesome scene when she went to his apartment to check on him.
Inside, they discovered his clothed torso next to a power saw. His head, arms, and legs from below the knees were found inside bags.
An unidentified and unnamed source allegedly stated that surveillance footage from the building showed a man, dressed all in black, in the elevator with Saleh. Once Saleh is said to have exited the elevator, the man allegedly launched his attack.
This case is still under investigation.
