Monday afternoon, 53 year old Adriano Medhane was arrested at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport on an active warrant. He appeared before a judge on Wednesday the 18th where he was ordered held without bail. Despite being held in confinement for trial, the judge also felt it necessary to order that he have no contact with minors.
Medhane is charged with sexually assaulting four family members for several years. The girls are now 7, 11, 14, and 16 years old.
Prosecutors are saying that Medhane would shower with the girls, touch them sexually, pin them down while kissing and abusing them, and even force the eldest girl to sleep in bed with him.
The eldest girl secretly recorded one of the attacks. The video was recovered by police as a part of the investigation. The video is said to show Medhane pinning the girl down, kissing her and abusing her and then laughing as she screams for him to stop.
He is charged with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim younger than 13, which is a felony. If convicted, he faces the possibility of life in prison.
