New Orleans, Louisiana: A missing person's case brought law enforcement to the residence of 34-year-old Benjamin Beale, also known as Kelley Kirkpatrick on social media, on Tuesday, January 11.
According to reports 36-year-old Julia Dardar had been missing since November 2021. It wasn't until December though, that she was reported missing by her estranged husband.
Officers arrived at Beale's residence Tuesday around noon to execute a search warrant.
Inside of a padlocked bus parked on the property officers located a freezer. Inside of the freezer, they located decapitated human remains that had been "severely dismembered."
In continuing to search the property officers found a make-shift drug lab which caused the homicide investigation to be paused while the Louisiana State Police Narcotics Division was called in to assist.
Beale was arrested on charges related to creating and operating a clandestine drug lab, illegally carrying a weapon, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of methamphetamine and obstruction of justice.
Beale remains in the custody of the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office in lieu of $450,000 bail.
At this time the remains discovered have not been officially identified though Julia's estranged husband, Micah Dardar expressed that there is "little doubt" in his mind that officers have the man responsible.
Additional charges may be filed once the medical examiner establishes the identity and cause and manner of death of the remains.
