McKinney, Texas: The Collin County Sheriff's Office announced on Facebook yesterday the arrest of 27-year-old Dorian Frost for allegedly attempting to prostitute an eight-year-old child to undercover officers.
According to their statement, deputies were working "in an online undercover capacity, were contacted by Frost who attempted to prostitute a preteen child at a location within Collin County. Frost sought $800 an hour in exchange for providing an eight-year-old child."
Investigators stated that he even utilized several methods in an attempt to conceal his online identity.
The arrest occurred on June 29, and he is being held in the Collin County Detention Facility in lieu of $350,000 bond. He has been charged with a single count of promoting the prostitutions of a person under the age of 18.
Colin County Sheriff Jim Skinner said, "This arrest illustrates how despicable and depraved that those involved in human trafficking are. This case is a prime example of why the Child Exploitation Unit was created. I'm very proud of the combined effort of CEU and our law enforcement partners for bringing Frost to justice."
His next court date is not known.
