Katie 
Carlos Nava pleaded not guilty last Friday to charges against him in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Nava faces four counts of of lewd act upon a child age 14 or 15 and three counts of oral copulation of a person under 18. The abuse is alleged to have taken place between December 2017 and May 2019 while his foster child was between the ages of 14 and 17 years old.
If convicted on all charges, Nava faces a possible sentence of 7 years in prison.
Bail was set at $250,000 and he remains in custody in the Pitchess Detention Center North. Nava is scheduled to be back in court on April 9th.
The Pomona Police Department is continuing to investigate the matter.
