Earlier this year we covered a story which saw five children removed from a home after allegations surfaced of child abuse including locking those kids in a cage.
The mother of those children, Kylla Michelle Mann was charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse and two counts of reckless endangerment. She was released on bond.
Wednesday morning however, that bond was revoked and Mann, now 31, was remanded to the custody of the Lee County Sheriff's Office. She remains in the Lee County Detention Facility awaiting trial.
“We presented evidence that she had not taken a single drug screen as ordered by the court as a condition of her bond,” Lee County District Attorney Brandon Hughes said. “She also left Alabama and moved to Mississippi, which was also a violation of her bond.”
WHNT additionally disclosed that Mann is facing an outstanding felony warrant in Mississippi now as well, for allegedly stealing lottery tickets from the gas station where she was employed.
Her court date is not known at this time.
