22-year-old Rachel Henry, who allegedly confessed to singing to her children while she suffocated them to death on January 20th, made her first appearance in court on Tuesday, February 4th.

Aside from confirming her name and date of birth, she didn't have anything to say.  Her court appointed public defender, Alan Tavassoli entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.  She stands charged with three counts of first degree murder.

According to AZ Central, the prosecution has yet to determine if they will pursue capitol punishment against Henry.

Henry remains in custody at the Maricopa County Estrella Jail in lieu of $3 million bail.  Her next court date has been scheduled for March 24th.

The great-aunt of the children, Pearl Rebolledo, has established a GoFundMe page to assist with the burial expenses.  The children were returned to Oklahoma where they were buried on February 1st.
