61-year-old avoids jail time after violating conditions of release by kissing children

Chatham, Kent: 61-year-old Janiel Veranier appeared in court last week for sentencing after he had admitted in December to a charge of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order issued in Canterbury Crown Court in 2016 which ordered that he stay away from children.

Three additional charges of violation were reportedly dropped during the proceedings. The nature of those violations was not disclosed.

Veranier, who appeared in court dressed in a dress and stockings and spent times sucking his thumb, identifies as a 5-year-old girl.

The violation of the order happened between December 18, 2019 and January 31, 2020. Veranier approached two young children randomly and kissed them on the lips.

The breach carried a maximum possible sentence of two years in jail, but Judge Philip St John-Stevens gave Veranier a seven month sentence, suspended for 18 months. He was additionally told to complete 20 rehabilitation days with probation services.

Vernier was also not ordered to pay the expenses of bringing the case to court which totaled approximately £ 1,800 ($ 2,280).

The Sexual Harm Prevention Order barring Veranier from contact with children was extended until 2030.

In November 2016 Veranier was sentenced to 15 months in jail after he was found guilty of kissing a child in Thanet and possessing images of child pornography.

During that case a psychological examination was conducted which determined that Veranier had no mental illness but did have unspecified personality problems.

It was during that trial that Veranier claimed to identify as a 5-year-old girl and wished to be called by the name of Jorven Seren.

At which point do we determine that we have had enough and actually start calling evil evil once more?

There are children looking to adults for protection and guidance. They deserve far more than to see example after example of spineless cowards that are more concerned with being "canceled" than they are with how they will answer one day before a holy and righteous God.
