According to the allegations leveled against 61-year-old Bruce Corrigan, he showed up at the Pilot truck stop in Minooka, Illinois on Tuesday, May 25 believing that he was going to meet up with two 12-year-old girls and take them back to his residence in Florida.
After being confronted by Save Our Siblings Corrigan was taken into custody by the Minooka Police Department and charged with traveling to meet a minor and solicitation to meet a minor.
Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer said that Corrigan has admitted to the charges against him.
He was released from the Grundy County Jail after posting a bond of $10,000.
As a part of his release, he was allowed to travel back to Florida for work but was ordered not to have contact with anyone under the age of 18.
According to court records Corrigan is due back in court on June 24 at 10:30 am before Judge Peterson.
The first time we heard of Save Our Siblings was in May when they conducted a similar sting operation which resulted in the arrest of Catholic school teacher Jeremy M. Hylka. He was arrested and charged with grooming and traveling to meet a child.
Since that arrest information has surfaced about allegations sent via email to the Joliet Catholic Academy in June 2020 concerning 15 students that made claims of inappropriate behavior.
