
Quarryville, Pennsylvania: Saturday night at approximately 7:45 pm officers responded to a call at an apartment complex where they found three young children shouting out of a third-floor window for their parents.
Officers attempted to contact someone inside the apartment, but when there was no response from inside, they gained entry and fond that there was no adult present.
The children, ages 5, 4, and 2, were found locked in a bedroom that officers described as being in "deplorable" condition, with "a very strong odor of urine and feces."
The parents, 24-year-old Alexis Absher and 27-year-old Collin Decker were allegedly at an event at Buck Motor Sports Complex while the children were locked in the bedroom according to a social media post in which they were tagged officers said.
The children have been placed into foster care and both Absher and Decker are being held in the Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $40,000 bail.
They have both been charged with three counts of Endangering the Welfare of Children, unlawful restraint, and false imprisonment. All of the charges filed at this time are felonies.
Their preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 12 at 9:00 am.
