Ashford, Washington: The Pierce County Sheriff's Department posted an alert to Facebook on Wednesday, January 19 asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted on four felony warrants for rape of a child.
The charges were filed against him in Pierce County Superior Court on November 4, 2021.
Law enforcement believes that he may be driving a silver Dodge Ram with a landscaping logo on the side in the Ashford area.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS(8477). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous may submit tips through the P3 Tips application.
A reward of up to $1,000 is currently available.
According to court documents, Churchill's former roommates stated it was clear that he spent several months "grooming" the 15-year-old girl before he sexually assaulted her over the course of four months.
The girl reported the abuse to her mother. Court documents report that the mother blamed the girl when she was told of the abuse.
The girl has now been placed into the care of another family member.
