An investigation was opened by the St. Mary's Parish Sheriff's Office back on February 9, 2021 into "a possible crime against a juvenile victim."
That investigation culminated on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 with the arrest of a part-time reserve officer with the Franklin Police Department, 32-year-old Travis Jasmire Royce Williams and his wife, 37-year-old Sherelle Sherise Williams.
Travis has been charged with six counts of aggravated crimes against nature and his bond was set at $100,000.
Sherelle has been charged with accessory after the fact to crimes against nature and obstruction of justice. Her bond was set at $50,000.
Both bonded out of custody from the St. Mary Parish Detention Center at 2:30 am yesterday.
No further information was released by law enforcement and their court date is not known at this time.
