On August 8th, police were called to a Princeton, Texas residence concerning the possibility that an infant death had not been reported.
Initially 42-year-old Ronald Grabowski and his wife, 41-year-old Donna Grabowski refused to cooperate with investigators.
During the course of their investigation, deputies found enough reason to arrest the couple and charge them with Abandoning or Endangering a Child, a 2nd degree felony.
After their arrest, they made a statement to officers that their one week old baby, Micah Grabowski, had died on or about July 29th. According to their statement, they woke in the morning to find the infant deceased in their bed.
Micah's remains were later located submerged in a bucket of tar in a shed behind their home.
Roland has been charged with Abandoning or Endangering a Child, Abuse of Corpse and Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence and is being held at the Collin County Detention Facility in lieu of $925,000 bond.
Donna has been charged with Abandoning or Endangering a Child, Abuse of Corpse, and two counts of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence and is also being held at the Collin County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,075,000 bond.
