"From July to September of this year Operation Triple Beam focused law enforcement's attention on disrupting gang related activities and removing violent gang affiliates from the streets of Oklahoma City," U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma Timothy Downing stated during a press conference yesterday morning.
The result of that operation was a total of 262 arrests, 141 of which were known gang members, 72 firearms and more than nine kilograms of narcotics seized, and the recovery of five children that had been reported missing with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
During the press conference officials stated that a wanted suspect for a homicide in Fresno County, California was also taken into custody as a result of Operation Triple Beam.
According to KFOR, five other homicide suspects were also taken into custody during the operation.
The operation concluded on September 6, 2020.
