Kissimmee, Florida: On Tuesday, November 29, at approximately 4:13 pm officers were called to a residence for a reported stabbing.
The Osecola County Sheriff's Office responded and located one deceased female and another female with severe lacerations to her hands.
A short distance away, a officers located 21-year-old Matthew Stewart Sisley.
According to a statement released by the Osecola County Sheriff's Department Sisley confessed to intentionally stabbing his mother during an interview conducted at the Sheriff's Office.
The Detective reportedly asked Sisley if his mother deserved to be stabbed to which Sisley is said to have answered, "yes."
When asked why, Sisley is said to have told the detective "because she never pushed me to be a man."
Asked if he regretted killing his mother, Sisley responded, "No. I would do it again."
The stabbing of the other woman, identified only as his sister, he claimed was accidental.
The pre-trial motion for detention, filed by state prosecutors stated, "The victim heard their mother screaming for her life. When the victim came out of her room, she observed the defendant stabbing their mother multiple times with a kitchen knife. The victim attempted to intervene and sustained multiple deep lacerations to her hands from the defendant cutting her."
A search of court records shows that there are currently two open cases against Sisley. The first case is on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and the second case is for a charge of murder.
Sisley made his first appearance in court on Friday, December 2, 2022 for the murder charge and was ordered to be held without bail in the Osecola County Correctional Facility. His next court date is not known.
