Half Moon Bay, California: The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office arrested 25-year-old Cesar Gomez Perez on Wednesday, April 27 on a charge of rape of a minor. He was booked into the Maguire Correctional facility in Redwood City with a bail amount of $250,000.
Jail records indicate that he had a court appearance scheduled for early this afternoon.

The investigation into Gomez Perez began last October following a report of a sexual assault on a minor.
While investigating the initial report, officers identified a second child that had potentially be sexually assaulted by Gomez Perez.
According to KPIX, the only news outlet that seems to currently be running the story, the current charges against Gomez Perez are rape of a minor over the age of 14f, meeting a minor for sex acts, and sex with a minor.
