There are stories from time to time of people finding bizarre things in the walls of homes when they set about renovating a home.
Such is the case of a home in Pacolet, South Carolina when the remains of a baby were recovered on January 2, 2021.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has taken possession of the remains and issued a statement saying that it would likely take months for the forensic anthropologist to complete their report.
The Coroner, Rusty Clevenger issued a statement to local media outlets stating that, "Based on our limited information, it is believed that the remains have been concealed for a long period of time."
"Our investigation is in the beginning stages at this point," Clevenger said.
