A Parable of Law

People love to point to the parables in which our Messiah spoke, showing how He used the events they knew in every day life as a comparison for events and the world to come.

The case can certainly be made that we are witnessing such a life event unfold in front of us this very day: tens of millions of U.S. Citizens are waking up to the reality of the U.S. constitution.

While politicos of all political parties love to parrot “We are a nation of laws!”, this is in not correct. The U.S. is a nation of individual states, populated by individual citizens, with a common federal government that is itself governed by this supreme law of the land, the U.S. constitution.

We The People are have awakened to the fact that those in government at all levels, local – state – and federal, have not been working within the bounds of the supreme law for decades and generations now. A nation allegedly controlled by votes of one person massed with their neighbors, has been sold out to charlatans by grifters, all self-serving, manipulating the balance of the scale and altering the weights. We truly live in a nation where “Good for thee but not for me” and “Do as thou wilt” are practiced at every level of society.

However with the 2020 election, all these political grifters have been revealed, the puppet strings of their controllers and contributors now showing clearly for all to see. The battle will continue all the way to the highest court. There will be “winners and losers” everywhere. Regardless of outcome, half the nation will not be happy with the results.

We The People now realize that they can’t lazily ride an innertube down the center of the river. They need to get out and choose a bank on either side to make a stand.

There is our parable of daily life. Now let’s apply it to the church.

Those claiming to be a part of THE Church have split themselves off into denominations. The Church is governed by the Law of God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Breaking this law is what is called sin. Jesus Yeshua the Messiah told people “Go and sin no more. Repent from sin. Keep the Commandments (God’s Law)!”

The apostles continued with this message. Adding only that the punishment for transgressing the Law, the curse of death, was nailed to the cross for us.

As it is written, the dragon makes war on the saints who “Keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

But for decades and generations, we have witnessed multiple denominations (and those claiming “non-denomination”s) step away from God’s Law. Grifters preach other gospels, placing false weights on cheating scales, to raise themselves up and keep you down.

Others grant special status to those committing certain types of sin, equating those people’s personhood with that sin, telling them to keep it up, God will take you in that pigpen state.

Worse yet, other denominations claim they have a Savior that saved them from sin (breaking God’s Law)…but that His Law doesn’t exist anymore. Then why, pray tell, do they need a Savior?

Yet as with the citizens of the U.S. waking up to the supreme law of the land, so are the people in the pews waking up to the Law of our Supreme God! Believers now realize that they are watching church “leaders” that are corrupt, self-serving, preaching a type of righteousness not mentioned in scripture and leading to damnation.

Even worse, these leaders are concealing the true love our heavenly Father has for us. That He will guide us, chasten us, correct our way until it is His Way! After all, if these pastors shared this with us how could they afford another house?

While it is easy to get dragged into the political debate and want to choose a side, the lawful or lawless, remember that same choice applies to you as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

As he said in His written Word, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

I love you all!
