Henderson, Nevada: 11-year-old Ashlyn Sherre was last seen on Saturday, February 19 when she was skateboarding outside her residence in the evening.
According to the Henderson Police Department she was last seen wearing a dark short-sleeved shirt, purple skirt, black fishnet leggings and black boots. Ashlyn is described as having green eyes and standing 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 80 pounds.
Her hair is currently dyed brown and had green streaks which will wash out as soon as her hair is washed.
Ashlyn's mother, Allison Thomas spoke with KLAS saying, "I just want my baby home."
Thomas said it was a completely normal day until her daughter went missing.
They had hung out earlier in the day and her daughter had texted while returning from a park. Once home, she went back outside to skateboard more.
"It wasn't but five minutes later. I open up the door and I didn't see her." Ashlyn's skateboard was found in the middle of the street.
Texts went unanswered and phone calls went immediately to voice mail.
"She's never not texted me," Thomas said.
After her daughter went missing, her mother looked at her phone and discovered that she had been active in a Discord chat where she was called "princess" and received messages of a "sexual" nature according to her mother. She has turned everything over to the Henderson Police Department, fearing that her daughter may have been groomed.
Thomas disclosed that her daughter has anxiety and depression and has not had her medication since her disappearance.
Ashlyn's grandmother has established a GoFundMe account in hopes of raising money for a reward.
Anyone with information about Ashlyn's whereabouts is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at (702) 267-4911. Detective Nathan Calvano can be reached directly at (702) 267-4750, or those wishing to remain anonymous may do so by contacting Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
